Wheelchair Porch Lifts Professionally Installed
At Reigning Mobility, we specialize in the professional installation of wheelchair porch lifts—also known as vertical platform lifts (VPLs)—designed to provide safe and reliable access to raised entrances such as porches, decks, garages, and mobile homes.
For individuals using wheelchairs, scooters, or walkers, stairs can present a significant daily challenge. Our porch lifts eliminate that barrier, offering a smooth, vertical ride that restores full access to your home or business. Each lift is engineered for durability, weather resistance, and ADA compliance, making it a long-term solution for both residential and commercial environments.
Our factory-trained and certified technicians will assess your property to ensure the lift fits seamlessly into your existing layout, with a focus on safety, convenience, and aesthetics. We offer both new and refurbished units, and most models come with features such as non-slip platforms, top landing safety gates, call/send boxes and easy to use controls. Optional features include auto opening safety gate, battery backup, key locks and lighted emergency stop with alarm.
Installation is quick and efficient—many lifts can be installed in just one day—and every lift we install is backed by a one-year parts and labor warranty. We also provide ongoing service and maintenance for lasting peace of mind.
With offices in South Florida and a statewide network of expert installers, Reigning Mobility is your trusted source for porch lift installations in Florida. Let us help you or your loved one regain safe, independent access to your home.
Harmar Highlander II Vertical Platform Lifts
We install the Harmar Highlander II, one of the most trusted vertical platform lifts for homes and businesses. It is rated for both residential and commercial use and built for outdoor installation, with a Seal-Kor powder-coat finish and stainless steel hardware that stand up to Florida sun, humidity and rain.
Lifting Heights for Almost Any Entrance
- VPL400: up to 53 inches
- VPL600: up to 77 inches
- VPL800: up to 101 inches
- VPL1000: up to 125 inches
- VPL1200: up to 149 inches
- VPL1400: up to 171 inches
Every Highlander II model lifts up to 750 lb, enough for a power wheelchair, its user and a caregiver. Platforms range from 36 by 48 inches up to 42 by 60 inches, so there is room for larger chairs and scooters.
Safety and Ease of Use
- Big Blue Paddle: a large 4-by-5-inch rocker control that is easy to press, even with limited hand strength
- Guardian System: four bright LED status lights that monitor the lift’s critical systems and show at a glance that it is ready
- ReadyUPS battery backup: at least five trips up or down during a power outage, which matters during Florida storm season
- SteadyDrive ACME screw drive: a smooth, quiet and stable ride
- Emergency stop button, overspeed brake, safety pan beneath the platform, door and gate interlocks, and a manual lowering tool
- Certified to ASME A18.1 and CSA B44.1/ASME A17.5 safety standards and ETL listed
Options include automatic-folding ramps, wired or wireless call/send controls, landing gates, enclosure kits and a lighted emergency stop with alarm. The Highlander II carries a 3-year parts warranty from Harmar, and every lift we install also carries our one-year parts and labor warranty.
Porch Lift or Ramp?
A ramp is often the simplest answer for a few steps. When an entrance is more than about two to three feet high, a ramp can become very long and take over the yard. A vertical platform lift fits in a footprint of only a few feet, works for higher porches and decks, and is easier for users who tire on long slopes. During your free evaluation we compare both options and recommend the one that fits your home, your mobility needs and your budget. Learn more about our wheelchair ramps.
Where Porch Lifts Are Used
- Front porches and raised entries on homes built above flood level, common across coastal Florida
- Garages with steps up into the house, giving drivers a covered route from the vehicle
- Decks, patios and lanais for access to outdoor living areas
- Mobile and manufactured homes, where entries are often several feet above the ground
- Businesses, churches and clinics that need an accessible entrance or stage access
Porch Lifts for Veterans
